Private Jet Charter

Fly when you want, from the airport closest to you, on an aircraft chosen for your trip. One advisor arranges everything, with every cost shown up front.

Private jet charter, the way it should work

Leasing a private jet for a trip gives you control of every part of it: the time you leave, the airport you use, who travels with you and what is waiting on board. You can fly directly between regional airports across the country and around the world, with no crowds, no security lines and no connections.

Ambition Jets is a charter broker. That matters, because we are not trying to fill a particular fleet. For each trip we compare aircraft from FAA Part 135 operators that meet our safety standards and recommend the one that best fits your route, your group and your budget.

How it works

  1. Tell us the trip. Use the quote form, call 1-800-647-0677 or email us. Route, dates, passengers and any special requests.
  2. Compare options. Your advisor sends aircraft options with photos, operator safety credentials and all-in pricing, usually within the hour.
  3. Confirm and relax. Sign the charter agreement and pay. We handle catering, ground transport and any special arrangements, then track your flight from wheels-up to landing.

Choose your aircraft

We arrange every class of aircraft, from turboprops for island strips to ultra long range jets that fly intercontinental routes nonstop. Not sure what you need? Compare classes in the aircraft hub, or see how far each jet can fly on the range explorer.

What makes a good charter experience

The aircraft is only part of it. What you are really buying is judgement: knowing which operator is reliable on a holiday weekend, when a slightly larger jet will save a fuel stop, or when an empty leg will save you half the price. That is what our advisors are for.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is private jet charter?

Private jet charter means hiring an entire aircraft, with its crew, for your trip. You choose the departure time, the airports and who flies with you, and pay for the aircraft rather than per seat. In the US, charter flights are operated under FAA Part 135 rules, which are stricter than those for private owners flying themselves.

How much does it cost to charter a private jet?

Most charters are priced per flight hour. Typical 2026 US rates run from about $4,000 per hour for a light jet to $13,000 or more for a heavy jet, before taxes and fees. A two-hour light jet round trip often lands between $20,000 and $30,000 all in. Try our charter cost calculator for an estimate for your route.

How many people can fit on a private jet?

Light jets usually seat 6 to 8, midsize jets 7 to 9, super midsize jets 8 to 10 and heavy jets 10 to 16. For larger groups we arrange regional airliners and VIP-configured aircraft.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, on most aircraft. Pets usually fly in the cabin with you. Tell us when you request a quote so we can confirm the operator's policy and any international entry rules.
